Kantamaru looked around lazily through his ANBU mask.He adjusted his katana and sat down in a tree and slid his mask up enough to get a cigarette.Nothing had been going on around or outside of the village and he saw no reason for Lord Hokage to keep him in his ANBU gear but it didnt matter to him,he would get a spar if he existed offically or not.

Kayn jumped into the field. "Kantamaru," kayn said. "Off on a break eh?" Kayn awsnt sure, but he had a hint of information that there would be a nice spar here. Better yet it was with a fellow anbu. Kayn hadnt told anyone but secretly he was anbu skill. He just perfered to catch others by suprise at the thought of a meager jounin. Eventually he had hopes over taking the office of hokage. But for now he just waited and observed. "Well, we gonna stand around or you wanna nice friendly spar. But be cautioned, if you use deadly force it shall be directed right back. You got it?"

Kantamaru looked over at Kayn and grinned under his mask.He had to maintain an air of being nonexistant. "I dont know whom you speak of by Kantamaru Nara,but sure,I'll fight you." as he said this he withdrew a kunai.He recognized the face of the man before him but didnt answer.He knew that this man knew who he was through training but not really anywhere else

Kayn smirked, he hadn't had much fighting experience. But he knew enough to know that this was going to be a fight neither end would back down. Kayn stood sideways, a stance that would normally leave him open, but he had a way to counter the defect. His hand went to his back, ready to flip his staff on its side as a parry or attack. He was already thinking of ways to find weaknesses and abilities of this ninja. It was time to test if he really could be promoted to head anbu. Or if it was a false treatment and a fake to get him to work.

Kayn decided to make the first move, he was anxious to fight. He sumersaulted backwards and threw a kunai at his opponent. Sure it was a weak attack, but he was just warming up...

Kantamaru threw his own kunai at the one coming towards him.He drew the katana on his back and looked readily at his opponent. "C'mon,your a Jounin,wow me."
